Students from Cuyahoga Community College clash in a local cooking competition and a chance to vie for ultimate honors in San Fransisco.

The InterContinental Hotels & Resorts™ Culinary Clash began as an annual cooking competition that has taken place at the InterContinental™ San Francisco and its Luce restaurant since 2012. The competition invited students from area culinary schools to compete for a chance to showcase their own menu for one night in Luce’s kitchen with its Michelin-star Chef Daniel Corey. The students worked with Chef Corey and his culinary team to prepare and execute their menus. A portion of the proceeds from each dinner benefitted scholarship funds at the partner culinary school. Top students also received scholarships.
In 2014, the Culinary Clash went national, and was hosted at several InterContinental™ Hotels & Resorts across the Americas. The winner from each property moved forward in the competition to compete in the Ultimate Culinary Clash, that took place on May 15, 2014 in San Francisco, where one property, along with its executive chef and winning student chef, was named winner of the overall competition.
This year, the Ultimate Culinary Clash will take place once again in San Francisco on May 6, 2015. Five hotels and five student chefs will vie for ultimate honors. The participating hotels are:
