This year for April Fools' Day, Table 45 is joining in on the fun. For one week beginning April 1, the bar at Table 45 is concocting specialty cocktails that start tart and end with a sweet sensation thanks to the “miracle berry.”

Zack Bruell Restaurant Week runs January 13-26, 2014 and features three-course menus at Parallax, Table 45, L’Albatros, Chinato and Cowell & Hubbard for just $33. Each restaurant offers two or three options per course, giving diners a bit of variety, as well as an incentive to make multiple trips to their favorite restaurants.

The next time you visit InterContinental Hotel Cleveland, you might be in for a sweet surprise; the hotel just became the first in Northeast Ohio to add an on-site bee apiary.

Employees at the Intercontinental Hotel and it's restaurant Table 45 are all abuzz. There are bees on the roof! But these 60,000 honey bees work for the hotel. It's part of a sustainability initiative the hotel and restaurant are using to "grow" their own honey. There are drink specials in the bar and by next spring, the chefs in the restaurant will be incorporating the hotel's honey into their dishes. The kitchen staff thinks it's a sweet idea...
